**IS THIS SOMETHING THAT INTERESTS YOU?**

The Marketing Content Specialist will have a natural flair and passion for writing and will take on the responsibility for the creation of written content for all marketing and communications, (both external and internal activities) across Foods Connected’ s marketing and communications channels. The main focus will be on development of marketing guides and other food industry related content in the form of white papers, messaging for marketing campaigns and brochure content, as well as internal messaging and communications related to training material and company updates.

The Marketing Content Specialist will be required to develop a strong understanding of and interest in the dynamics of the Global Food industry including all of the current talking points, such as CSR and Sustainability, Food Safety and Consumer trends. This role will require you to work autonomously to execute tasks and promote best practices with very little oversight beyond high-level direction, providing content support to other Foods Connected teams when required.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Convert product benefits and features into cohesive messaging that articulates the pain points, value, and return on investment in a clear and compelling way.
- Research and establish relevant market personas and develop a deep understanding of the product and how it solves customer needs.
- Create and plan social media posts in harmony with the brand, Develop messaging for the Foods Connected website, Blog, Product training materials, case studies, whitepapers, video scripts and thought leadership articles.
- Forge collaborative relationships with industry media outlets and journalists to secure awareness content for the brand.
- Manage an overarching content strategy and maintain a content diary on a monthly basis to cover all aspects of content creation and delivery.
- Collaboration within the Marketing, Design, Product and Development teams to ensure we have up to date materials, digital assets, infographics and story ideas.
- Proof reading of any content created by fellow team members.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, copy writing, or a related field, and 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar content or copy writing role.

**Experience Required**:
To perform this job successfully the _Marketing Content Specialist_ should have:

- Experience working internally or with agency on SEO deliverables and keyword planning.
- A portfolio of content that exhibits outstanding messaging across a variety of mediums.
- Excellent written and presentation skills
- Knowledge of inbound marketing, the marketing funnel and the relationship between content and SEO.
- Understanding of and passion for the Food Technology industry, with a keen desire to continue to increase knowledge of current technologies and stay ahead of new innovations.
- Collaboration and communication tools: Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.
