We are seeking a motivated, quality focused professional that is passionate about leading an IT function, to join our team as Head of technology. You will be joining the business at an exciting time, as we continue our mission of leveraging our technology to create outstanding customer service solutions.

The position will suit an individual that has broad experience across multiple IT disciplines and has experience of leading internal teams and external suppliers to deliver on technology solutions.

**Responsibilities**
- Support the executive team to define technology related strategy and lead on the delivery of the defined strategy.
- Lead the IT team to develop, maintain and support existing technology systems to enable adherence to operational service levels.
- Lead the implementation and delivery of technology-based projects, such as the onboarding of new software
- Analyse patterns and trends in IT support requests, identifying the root causes and using the data to inform future planning
- Oversee internal database development, including programming of an internal SQL hosted database
- Support the compliance department to continually develop robust business continuity and incident management plans.
- Support the compliance department with the maintenance and development of cyber security measures that support the adherence to cyber security standards, including ISO27001.
- Lead and promote training and coaching to increase technical awareness throughout a technology focused organisation
- Broad IT management skills, with a combination of hands on and strategic involvement
- People management experience
- Experience in leading technology related projects
- An understanding of SQL development
- Experience in maintaining security accreditations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: One location
