Competent Loading Shovel Operator and 360 Excavator Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for operating a front-end loading shovel and be required to perform light maintenance, cleaning of machinery and completing any associated paperwork.

**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure that changes in site operations, policies, practices and procedures are communicated and carried out effectively
- Plant and equipment maintenance
- Compliance with Health and Safety and all relevant regulations and permits
- Drive the loading shovel
- Responsible for housekeeping around the site such as cleaning and minor maintenance of both the loading shovel
- Willingness to undertake training and learn new skills, required for efficient operations, such as plant operation, plant maintenance, first aid and materials testing

**SKILLS / EXPERIENCE**

Essential
- Knowledge of Health and Safety for the safe use of plant machinery
- Knowledge of site permit requirements
- Working under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Experience using Shredders and Trommel screens
- Be practical / hands-on
- Competent and reliable team player with a pro-active attitude

Advantageous
- Fitter/Welder experience
- Experience in Waste Processing & Recycling, including knowledge of weigh-bridge duties, waste acceptance and relevant regulation

**PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Right to work and remain in the UK

**REMUNERATION**
- Monday to Friday
- Standard Hours 7am-4:30pm
- Flexible voluntary overtime always available for those looking for more working hours at flat rate
- Saturday working available but optional not necessary
- Hourly rate negotiable based on experience

**Salary**: £14.00 per hour
