**About Our Logistics Team**

Shoreham Port operates 24/7 365 days a year and has a rich maritime history. Our HGV team plays a crucial role in welcoming cargo from around the world and ensuring it reaches its final destination safely and efficiently.

As part of this team, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the world of haulage, learning the ropes in a supportive and friendly environment. Every day is different, with lots of opportunity to get involved with a wide range of haulage activities and projects.

**Key Tasks**
- Responsible for the efficient and accurate day to day operational administration of our HGV Driver team including work allocation and route planning and utilisation of both internal and external transport management systems.
- Work in partnership with the Operations Leadership Team to ensure there is clear communication, coordination, and integration of the HGV service provision with terminal operations ensuring the best possible customer outcome.
- Where required, assist the Transport & Logistics Manager with any recording of accidents and any resulting investigations.
- Through a process of continuous improvement, seek out opportunities to improve the HGV Teams SLA and to assist the Transport & Logistics Manager with their implementation.

**Role Progression**
