To process all enquiries effectively and efficiently, including quotation handling liaising with the customers and following up quotations where required. To respond to the customer requirements commercially, balancing this desire with the company’s objective of maintaining and improving sales margin.

**Main Responsibilities and Tasks**:
1) Enquiries
- Assist the Technical Sales Engineer with customer enquiries for Mesh and Steel Partitioning, Storage Cages and other general enquiries as required.
- Assist with design/redesign.
- To discuss with the customer their requirements to enable a commercial offering to be made.
- Negotiation with the customer
- Liaison with suppliers, other departments within the company.
- All enquiries to be responded to in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensuring with all enquiries and quotations that any correspondence and verbal communications and information are accurately recorded and highlighted to relevant personnel to ensure opportunities and threats are effectively controlled.

2) To ensure that all calls are effectively managed.
- Asking open-ended questions to determine customer needs.
- Ensuring buying signals are spotted and capitalised on.
- Ensuring objections are overcome in a positive and respectful manner.
- Ensuring calls are well prepared and professionally presented.
- Ensuring call objectives are achieved.

3) Key Performance Indicators
- Efficient enquiry handling
- Accuracy of information
- Maintain good internal and external relationships to ensure consistently high levels of customer service.
- The control of internal action notes

4) Other Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Present a positive image of the company to people outside.
- Carrying out any other ad hoc duties that might be required in the companies’ interest.

Pay: From £26,000.00 per year
