This role is working for a well-established prepared foods manufacturer which produces great tasting products to the highest standards.

Based in a modern, BRC accredited facility, the business works with some of the biggest and most progressive names in the grocery, retail, and wholesale sector.

The purpose of your role will be to support site due diligence in producing safe, legal, authentic, and quality food through managing all aspects of technical administration.

Key tasks
- Supervision and overseeing hygiene, housekeeping, product handling and production activities, ensuring accuracy of work and providing training.
- Maintaining and continuously improve food safety & quality systems throughout the company and to support the production team in their duties.
- Responsible for all aspects of the company’s supplier approval process.
- Oversee and conduct internal audits, raising any non-conformances.
- Oversee the complaints system including reporting, investigation, and trending.
- Provide technical guidance and advise the wider business on legal and customer requirements, particularly with respect to labelling, specifications, and food quality targets.
- Conduct GMP inspections and fabrication audits, reporting findings.
- Contribute and support BRC audits and customer visits.
- Completing micro and chemical testing against the schedule, trending, and analysing results.
- Oversee production paperwork, review and verifying checks, implementing required changes.
- Perform equipment checks and verifications.

About You
- Experience working in a technical role in food or beverage manufacturing.
- HACCP Level 2 (ideally Level 3).
- High levels of attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team but also independent.
- Skills including, flexible, good time management, organised, participate in meetings, prioritise tasks, works well in deadlines, problem solving and decision making.
- Driving Licence and own transport.

Competitive salary dependant on experience.
