**Duties**
- Provide tailored personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Support clients with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
- Encourage and promote independence while respecting each individual’s preferences and dignity
- Monitor and report on clients’ health status, noting any changes or concerns to relevant healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any incidents or observations during visits
- Foster positive relationships through empathetic communication and active listening
- Assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment to ensure safety
- Promote social engagement by encouraging participation in hobbies and community activities when possible
**Qualifications**
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others in their daily lives
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently while following care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to home care settings
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, or sleep-in duties if required
- Previous experience in domiciliary or personal care is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Relevant certifications such as Moving & Handling or First Aid are desirable but not mandatory
