We have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Planning Officer in our busy team, delivering a high quality and customer focused service. With agile working arrangements in place, and a new and progressive workspace in a town centre location, you will join a team used to working collaboratively with colleagues across our organisation. With recently awarded government funding these are exciting times for us and will mean that your work will span a broad spectrum, ranging from residential developments through to renewable energy proposals.
Excellent customer focus is essential as is your ability to manage these projects to agreed timescales and quality criteria. For this role you will need to be confident and effective in dealing with applicants and their agents, Councillors, residents and other key stakeholders.
With a well - developed knowledge of planning procedures and the ability to work to multiple deadlines you will join us in achieving the very best for our communities, creating an area that is safe, well, prosperous and connected.
