Serco are currently recruiting for a Housing Officer to Ensure the efficient supervision of all aspects of administration relating to the allocation of the JSCSC Service Families Accommodation (SFA). To effectively Line Manage the Serco SFA Team, the post holder will actively participate in the recruitment of staff, allocate work to staff, monitor and manage absences, performance, well-being and learning and development requirements as well as conducting annual Performance Reviews. The post holder will also be responsible for the coaching and mentoring of colleagues working in the area.

**As part of this you’ll**
- Ensure that the SFA Office function is fully operational and maintained at all times.
- Supervise and organise all aspects of administrative requirements for the SFA Estate
- Liaise and advise occupants regarding housing matters and ensure that maintenance work in SFA houses and in and around the estate grounds is properly coordinated

Liaison and co-ordination of processes with Amey.
- Supervise, co-ordinate and organise conduct of March In, March Out and Pre march out Advisory appointments.
- Ensure SFA properties are up to move-in standard; pre-move in survey and raise all maintenance tasks
- Management and coordination of Cleaning / Gardening contractors for all SFA properties
- Work closely with Head of International Student Liaison for housing allocations and support for the International students and families
- Prepare SFA monthly reports and returns (SPAAR & SID) for the Logistics Support Services Supervisor.

**What you’ll need to do the role**
- Good level of general education, with GCSE’s (A-C) or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
- Proven ability to communicate at all levels (oral and written) with good communication skills.
- Ability to cope under pressure, with conflicting demands of customer and colleagues
- Ability to proactively managing departmental workload.
- Ability to lead meetings
- Proven organisational skills and problem-solving skills.
