**Job Purpose**: The Global Peace & Unity Foundation is seeking creative, proactive, and hardworking volunteers to join our fast-paced Events Team at the Media House Head Office in Ilford, Essex and for the upcoming GPU Festival on October 19-20, 2024, at Excel London. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn the skills and knowledge necessary for running successful large-scale events. We are offering voluntary opportunities prior to event and onsite according to requirement and available skills.
**Start Date**: As soon as possible

**Responsibilities**: As an Events Volunteer, your role may involve a mix of the following:
Supporting the Team Leader.
Collaborating with the events team.
Conducting extensive research.
Handling phone calls.
Performing day-to-day administrative tasks.
Admin Help
Exhibition Sales
Help in Backstage
Speakers protocol
Registration
Kids stage
General Assistance
Marketing
Conducting site visits and attending events.
Coordinating with external suppliers.
Participating in the execution of the GPU Festival.

**Requirements**:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general use of office equipment is essential.
Excellent communication skills.
A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Availability for weekend work, if required.
