**Britsafe Limited **are currently looking to recruit cover guards around Taunton and Wellington areas as site security operative.

**Pay**:Minimum £10.00 per hour

**Primary Role**
- Protect property, people and premises
- Assist client in providing added services
- Deliver customer service
- Co-operate and liaise with emergency services

**Key Responsibilities**

**Security**
- Act in a matter befitting a high profile officer
- Control access to site following client’s access protocols
- Deter intruder access by providing highly visible security presence
- Monitoring site and its environs reporting any suspicious activity
- Monitor and respond to alarms, CCTV and other security systems
- Provide detailed and accurate reports in Daily Log Book and in Incident Reports

**Customer Service**
- Understand importance of customer service to Client, Colleagues, Visitors and Public
- Portray professional impression of Britsafe, Client and the Security Industry
- Complete any Client reports in a timely fashion
- To minimise the impact of Security on members of public, particularly out of hours

**Mandatory Attributes**
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail, particularly spotting deviations from normal activity
- Willingness to question behavioural patterns and determination not to be deflected, tempered with appreciation that Security should not interfere unnecessarily with Client’s activities
- Possession of calmness under pressure and ability to cope with unexpected situations

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £10.00 per hour
