**L&OD/ HR Systems Administrator ( 2 fixed term positions for 12 months)**

The Human Resource/ Organisational Development (HROD) Business Team is responsible for managing the central operational functions of the HROD Department and supports various specialist teams, namely Learning and Organisational Development (L&OD), HR, Apprenticeships, Recruitment, and Health & Wellbeing.

As part of this small but integral team of 10, you will support the development of the learning management system, Learning Together, by managing course information, and developing digital learning modules; you will also support the management of other HR focused systems, such as Therefore and Oracle, updating records, providing information and reports as needed.

As first point of contact for enquiries into the HR/OD Department, via a number of helpdesks, part of your role will be to provide general information, advice and guidance on both technical system support and wider HR/OD guidance to NCC staff, schools, community groups, health and social care organisations, and the wider communities across Northumberland that we support.

The work covered by our team is fast-paced and extremely varied - no 2 days are ever the same, and in order to fulfill the requirements of the job successfully, you will be organized, detail focused, and can manage conflicting priorities (with the support of your line manager). You will also have the ability to develop an understanding of technical systems and be customer/ end-user focused with every task.

The post will be based in County Hall, Morpeth, but as we operate a flexible, hybrid working model, you will have the option to work from home following successful probationary and training periods. NB - as the Business Team have a mandatory presence in the office every day, there is an expectation that all staff are office based for at least 2/ 3 days every week.

This post is being offered for a 12-month fixed term contract on a full time basis.

Essential Requirements:

- Level 3 qualification or equivalent (A level, NVQ, Apprenticeship, etc), with a good standard of general education, including passes in Maths and English.
- Experience of working with computerized systems; well-developed general IT skills (e.g.: MS Office packages)
- Good communication, literacy and interpersonal skills.
