**Job Introduction**:
**About the Role**
We’re looking for committed individuals who are passionate about putting children and young people at the heart of everything they do.
We are looking to appoint talented individuals across two of our children’s residential homes that offer care and support to children who may have complex health or behavioural needs.
One home provides long term, full time nurturing care for up to five children with disabilities and the other home offers overnight short breaks for children with disabilities, providing them with positive and fun experiences before and after school, weekends and school holidays.

As a residential practitioner, you will be a valued member of our experienced and compassionate team. This role will involve working shifts, weekends, sleep ins and bank holidays as defined by the needs of the service.

- Provide a loving, safe and positive environment for our children living or staying with us.
- Be instrumental in creating a positive future for the children living with us from a social, educational and an individual approach.
- Assist with daily activities such as getting ready for the day, including school and assisting with homework where possible.
- Thinking creatively about activities that our children can get involved with and assisting with bringing this to life.
- Being aspirational for children.
- Support our children with their social and emotional needs.
- Experience working with or caring for disabled children and young people.
- Demonstrate high levels of patience and empathy.
