Footprints is a growing, Nottingham-based local charity providing conductive education and other services to help children with mobility and communication problems. Our work - and your next role - not only brings joy to children’s faces; it brings abouttangible, life-enhancing improvements.

As our Business Manager / Charity Manager, you will be the pivotal link between board-level visions and transformative implementations that enhance end-user experiences. Fronting a new and exciting phase for Footprints, you will create, develop, and deliveron our strategy and objectives.

**Your Future ?**
- Driving the reach and delivery of Footprints’ service to more families and children
- Managing the optimisation of our office and facilities - now and for the future
- Managing five direct reports - our Head of Communication and PR, Head of Service, Head of Income, Finance Officer, and Office Administrator
- Enhancing our financial sustainability, reducing our reliance on fundraising and grants
- Optimising the services provided for modern-day families amid the impact of COVID-19
- Fostering and developing working relationships with other charities and agencies
- Working with multi-skilled professionals to achieve shared visions, targets, and goals

In this role, you will be a key strategic influence at board level, analysing business plans and proposing new ideas - before going on to managing their implementation.

As well as being the main contact for liaising with the board of trustees, you will have hands-on responsibility for budgeting and strategy development, overseeing staff development and training procedures, and ensuring policies and procedures are suitable.

Emotionally intelligent, logical, solution-orientated, and assured, you need to be capable of tackling difficult conversations whilst remaining objective and composed.We need a decisive leader who isn’t afraid to make big decisions but can also pull peopletogether behind objectives and visions.

**Do You Offer ?**
- At least one year of experience managing a team of at least three professionals in a service-based environment
- Experience in scrutinising and optimising business policies/processes
- Evidence of commercial acumen and an awareness of how business functions interlink
- Active involvement in implementing and improving a workplace company culture

**The Next Step**

In addition to your starting salary, this position includes 25 days of annual leave with eight bank holidays on top, as well as a 3/5 contributory Nest Pension. Please note, this role is based at our office in Sneinton, but you will need to live within acommutable distance of Nottingham city centre.
