**About the Role**
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced waiter to join our popular Pub, Hams Hame.

Hams Hame is nestled beneath the iconic Hamilton Grand building, next to the 18th green of the world’s most famous golf course.

Hams Hame Pub & Grill is a fabulous venue offering outstanding Scottish cuisine that showcases the best ingredients in an informal setting, where you can also watch sport on TV. Hams Hame is also the perfect place to stop and sample the heart-warming selection of teas, coffees and hot chocolate - perfect for a pre-match warmer or after a blast on West Sands Beach

Your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming guests as they enter the premises
- Providing exceptional customer service to all guests in line with AA 5 red star standards.
- Providing knowledgeable drink recommendations based off guest preferences.
- Fulfilling drink and food orders accurately and promptly.
- Keeping the bar area and glass wear clean and regularly stocked.

To be successful in this role you will have the following qualities and experience:

- You will have previous experience of at least 2 years within a hospitality role, preferably in a pub / bar setting but all hospitality experiences will be considered.
- You will deliver a warm and welcoming experience, playing your part in making their stay at The Old Course as exceptional as it can be.
- Good knowledge and understanding of beverages, cocktails and bar operations
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- You will have a keen eye for detail and an organised approach with the desire to exceed guest expectations.
- You will be a team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- You will have the ability to engage with guests, helping them however you can and make their visit to Hams Hame memorable.

**Hours**
Permanent Part Time 20hrs

**Salary**
£13.17 per hour
FTE £27,385.26 per annum
