Keeping our hospitals clean is a big priority for us. We are looking for a Housekeeper / Domestic Assistant, who will help us to create a safe and pleasant environment for patients by cleaning and preparing a range of areas, getting the best from cleaning products and, using equipment (training provided where needed). You will take pride in your work and undertake a variety of general responsibilities ranging from removing waste, to checking stock and updating records on the computer. To help us build a healthier nation as a Housekeeper / Domestic Assistant at our DerbyHospitals.

**As a **Housekeeper / **Domestic Assistant**, you will**:

- Care about our patients, so that you can organise your own work and plan your time to make sure cleaning never gets in the way of a patients’ experience.
- Be friendly, with good communication and customer service skills. This will come in handy when you are working in a team with your colleagues and also when you are interacting with our patients.
- Motivated, friendly and flexible.
- Experience in a similar role, you will be well organised and will ensure that cleaning products are used effectively, and that the location is clean, pleasant and safe for patients.
- Infection prevention and control compliances, reporting incidents to the relevant team members.
- Need to have a clean driving license and access to own car as you will be required to work at both sites.

The Nuffield Health Derby Hospital is a modern, purpose-built hospital with 38 en-suite beds, three operating theatres, and together with a comprehensive range of outpatient services.

The Radiology department is a small but busy department covering general radiographic procedures, theatre, ultrasound, MRI and CT. Set in beautiful grounds, we’re about 3 miles from the city centre, within easy reach of all major roads and bus routes.
