**PURPOSE**
Joining a growing team your role will be to support the operational functions of the business to ensure our clients holidays run seamlessly and efficiently.
The Group Tour & Private Journeys Operations Administrator is responsible for the areas outlined below and reports to the Group Tour & Private Journeys Operations Team Leader. You will work within an experienced team ensuring that client travel documentation is produced in a timely fashion and to a very high standard. You will assist with quality control checking, of client bookings and invoices.
The role would suit someone with a keen eye for detail who enjoys having a direct impact on the quality of service a client receives. Someone who enjoys working in a team whilst working through specific tasks. While experience of working in travel would be useful it is not essential, and a greater asset would be to have a genuine interest in travel and willingness to learn.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Group and FIT Tour Despatch**
- QC all group tour and FIT documentation before sending to clients
- Prepare all clients’ tour itineraries and travel documents and send to clients 2-3 weeks prior to departures.
**QC Group Tour and private journey Bookings (FIT)**
Undertake booking QC for all Group Tour and Private Journey bookings to include:
- Checking all costs have been loaded correctly into the in-house reservations system
- Checking all elements of the itinerary have been loaded correctly into the in-house reservations system
- Checking all flights are loaded correctly.
- Ensure that the correct flights have been held. Check against the ‘How To Book’ notes for each product.
- Ensuring pre and post tour extensions have been confirmed correctly as per the ‘How To Book’ Notes.
- Generate confirmation documents within required SLA timeframes.
**ABOUT YOU**:
- Numerate and data literate, must include GCSE mathematics at A or B
- Sound geographical knowledge
- Excellent writing skills and command of English grammar
- Travel industry experience - desirable but not essential
- Exceptional customer service and rapport building.
- A solutions-based thinker with a natural inquisitive mind
- A natural problem solver, with a can-do attitude
- A clear, succinct communicator with a meticulous eye for detail

Pay: Up to £25,643.00 per year
