**Electronics Development Manager**

**Full time On site - 12-Month Contract - Inside IR35 £700 - £800 PD**

We are looking for an enthusiastic, Electronics Development Manager for a major client in the Motor Sports Industry.
The Electronics Development Manager required has a passion for all aspects of embedded electronics to lead a multi-disciplinary team that produces a wide range of bespoke solutions to support the timing, televising, and organisation of client events. This rolerequires a solid background in electronics engineering, ideally with hands-on experience in the technical disciplines within the team.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Taking the lead on electronics developments, being responsible for the full life cycle through conception, design, development, testing, system integration, and deployment.
- Contributing to architectural decisions and driving technical decisions relating to electronics development.
- Reviewing designs to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to the overall electronics architecture.
- Providing planning and priorities, and interfacing with cross-functional inputs to support successful design, development, and deployment.
- Promoting the usage of best practices in terms of development, testing, and documentation.
- Driving innovation and continuous improvement of technologies and methodologies to increase productivity and ensure technology standards are followed.
- Actively driving knowledge distribution to colleagues in and outside of the team.
- Supporting and advising operational departments with their activities and duties with regard to provided solutions.
- Providing input to department-level budget planning and managing team budgets as delegated by the Head of the Department.
- Managing resource levels to deliver team objectives, undertaking recruitment as required.
- Undertaking team administration as required including performance reviews, race attendance and holiday planning, organising team training, and general team oversight in line with company policies.
