As a Linux Systems Engineer you will be part of an agile and talented team responsible for all operational aspects of the Linux estate. They are a versatile group, so you’ll also have the opportunity to follow issues across other technologies in the platformtoo.

Your role will include responding to, investigating and resolving technical issues escalated from 1st line, ensuring all Linux components meet the security and operational reference architectures and best practices and enhancing and tuning the Linux technologystacks. As an active member of the Linux systems groups you will discuss, plan, design, build and deploy innovative solutions using open source technologies

Key experience
- Linux operating systems (RHEL / CentOS 6, 7, 8)
- Open Source management and automation toolsets (Puppet, Ansible, Foreman)
- Linux patching systems and processes (Spacewalk, Satellite)
- Application management and distribution across Linux estates
