At **Minster**we are looking for an**Area Sales Manager** to work out of our Croydon Branch**,**helping to deliver insulation and dry lining products to our client range of Contractors, Specialist Contractors and Merchants.

This **Area Sales Manager**well be a part of a team of 6 Area Sales Managers which cover the South of England as well as working closely with the internal sales team in our branches across your region. This is a fantastic opportunity to rebuilda dormant area and demonstrate your flair for business development and maximizing customer spending in a business unit where your efforts get noticed and career development and progression is there for you to grab.

**Minster** is one of 30+ Saint-Gobain brand's, Minster, specialist insulation, dry lining, fire protection, façade, roofing and ceilings solutions distributor. Since 2004, our business has continued to grow, and we now have 27 dedicated branchesand distribution facilities working hard to service customers nationwide

**What we're looking for**:

- Experience of working within dry lining, insulation and partitioning is key but we will consider Sales Professionals from other sectors within building materials sales.
- Highly strong commercial, financial and business acumen
- Strong diary management, appointment making and area management skills
- Excellent communication skills, ability to gather and share market intel with internal sales and Branch Sales Managers
- Ability to grow and develop lapsed / dormant accounts

**What you will be doing**:

- Reporting into the Branch Sales Manager with the aim of building and developing our commercial performance of our products and identify tactical areas of growth.
- Managing core customers, new customers and sales opportunities across Croydon, South London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
- Analyzing customer spend, working with the internal sales to gather intel,
- Managing your own diary, booking client visits, cold calling
- Being visible is key, 4 days a week on the road and 1 day in your local branch
