Head of Finance - This high-profile, privately owned multisite retail and hospitality business in North West London, is expanding its operations and is looking to add to its already impressive portfolio. As part of this growth, they are looking to recruita high-profile Head of Finance to look after the accounts team and all financial aspects of the business. The Head of Finance will work across multiple entities with diverse operations. Key responsibilities include:

- Management of a team of Accountants and Assistant Accountants, work towards agreed business reporting and statutory timeframes.
- Provide excellent leadership and management of Corporate Finance, measured by the effectiveness, engagement, and business unit respect of the team.
- Manage the Group's financial reporting obligations, with responsibility for preparation and lodgement of compliant full year and half year consolidated accounts.
- Manage the Group's statutory taxation obligations (including Income Tax, corporation tax, PAYE, and VAT), with responsibility for preparation and lodgement.
- Collaborate, design, implement and review finance systems, policies, and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and contemporary relevant practices.
- Oversee finance systems managing transaction flows from source through interfaces to general ledger.
- Manage the Group's cash flows within available facilities, providing appropriate reporting to Directors.
- Ensure finance ledgers are maintained and are accurate and complete, and structured for the dual purpose of providing relevant information to internal users and meeting statutory obligations.
- Ensure reporting functions and responses to ad hoc requests for financial related information are appropriately delivered.
- Preparation of annual budgets for all companies.
- Perform the accounting function for holding companies.
- Undertake a range of other activities within the Corporate Finance function, in conjunction with other Finance staff, such as maintenance of consolidated key finance activities, governance/internal control activities, business administration or insurancemanagement.
- Liaison with 3rd party Auditors, Tax Advisors and Lawyers.
- Liaise with IT, Network and Telecommunications providers and ensure systems security, compliance, fit for purpose and future proof.
- Continuously review and negotiate SLAs and pricing of all contracted services.
- Plan, coordinate and take a lead on Monthly P&L reviews.
- Prepare and circulate monthly store budgets.
- Prepare all quarterly covenants and respond to any covenant related queries.
- Specific responsibilities for all cash flow management, statutory reporting, cost analysis and reviews as well as overall responsibility for payment of VAT, Corporation tax and PAYE.

The position will suit a high profile Qualified (ACA. ACCA, or CIMA) Head of Finance with significant retail, multisite, hospitality or public practice experience. Experience of leading and managing a team is key as well as the ability to communicate withkey stakeholders. Previous exposure to taxation, financial reporting &/or audit is vital.
