**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**

**SALARY**:£18,000 per annum

**LOCATION**: Burntwood, Staffordshire, West Midlands

**JOB TYPE**: 30 Month Apprenticeship Contract (Potential for a permanent position with the company upon completion of the apprenticeship)

**WORKING HOURS**:8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday

**JOB OVERVIEW**

We have a fantastic new apprenticeship opportunity for a Chemical Manufacturing Technician / Process Operator Apprentice who is a team player with an eye for detail.

As the Chemical Manufacturing Technician / Process Operator Apprentice your training will be delivered to Level 3 Science Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship Standard and Level 3 Diploma in Process Technology C&G.

Working as the Chemical Manufacturing Technician / Process Operator Apprentice you will work as part of a team where you will adhere to H&S requirements, operate machinery and carry out process tests.

The job requires precision and skill to ensure that products made meet stringent quality requirements. All work will need to adhere to health and safety regulations.

**DUTIES**

Your duties as the Chemical Manufacturing Technician / Process Operator Apprentice include:

- Operate process machinery
- Accurately weigh ingredients
- Carry out in process tests
- Operate packing / filtration machinery
- In process batch adjustments
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout the process

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**

**Qualifications Required**:
To be eligible for this position you will need:

- GCSEs grade 4/C (or equivalent) or above in English, Maths and Science

**Skills Required**:

- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Work accurately

**Personal Qualities**:

- Good judgement and common sense
- Attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Willing to learn
