We are currently recruiting for a HR Administrator/HR Advisor to join a leading, global life science tools company on a 12-month fixed term contract - this company's main aim is to bring new diagnostics and therapies to market whilst optimising food productionand enhancing the quality of food, the environment and consumer products.
For example, this could be a fantastic opportunity for an administrator who is looking to get their foot in the door of the HR world as a HR Administrator - this level would look to pay up to £26,000pa, dependent on experience.
If, however you're already at that HR Administrator or HR Advisor level and you're looking for your next step in the HR world to utilise and develop your skillset, this level would look to pay up to around £35,000pa, dependent on experience.
You will initially be based full-time on-site at their offices based near Ely, Cambridgeshire, however upon full training, there will be the opportunity for hybrid working with flexible full-time working hours.
In this role you will be supporting both the HR Business Partner with all people administration, as well as HR/Recruitment Co-ordinator with recruitment administration.
Key duties of this role include:

- Induction & on-boarding - ensuring a smooth and welcoming induction, dealing with training needs and the delivery of the HR induction
- Absence management - monitoring and supporting absence and occupational health issues, and supporting administration of maternity, paternity and flexible working requests
- Learning & development - administration of internal and external training programmes
- Resourcing - interview organisation, liaising with agencies whilst ensuring the recruitment process is as smooth as possible
- Data management - maintaining accurate employee date in the database
- General administrative duties - dealing with general HR enquiries, collating salary data for stakeholders, running basic reports, analysing data and any other general HR Co-ordination
- Administration experience, preferably within a HR team
- Experience of working within a demanding and commercial environment
- Ability to maintain accurate employee records and data to ensure governance and compliance
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent team player
- Able to work in a matrix environment
- Good numeracy and communication skills
