**Salary**: £26,000-£33,000per annum
**Hours**: Full time, Monday to Friday shifts standard 8am-5pm
**Contract**: Permanent
We're looking for a **Desktop Support Engineer**working in Avonmouth (BS11) for a large plant hire company. **Some travel may be required to other sites so a driving licence is essential.**

As a desktop support engineer you will provide 1st line IT support to all company employees, both on site and remote workers. The primary goal is to support end users with all IT support queries. Working in a small team you will be involved in a range oftechnologies as you progress and gain more experience in the role.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- 1st line triage and resolution of user reported issues
- Configure and deploy laptop and Apple Mobile devices
- Basic MDM administration of Apple Devices
- Supporting deployment and update of software
- Troubleshoot hardware and software faults
- Install and configure new end user devices to company standards
- Good customer facing skills and ability to prioritise your workload are also key aspects of the role**.**

**Work experience requirements**:

- Experience and/or Qualifications in an IT support role
- Experience with Windows 10 and Apple iPhone iOS/iPadOS
- Experience with MS O365 Packages
- Experience with Active Directory and group policies
- Ability to maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries
- Proactive approach, ability to prioritise and manage own workload
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- **Keen attention to detail**
