**Hourly Rate**:£14 - £20 via umbrella

**Hours**:full-time (37.5, Monday-Friday, 9-5)

Venn Group are currently working with a public sector organisation in the South West, who are seeking a **Desktop Support Engineer** to provide ongoing temporary **IT support.**

**Day to Day Duties:
- Working across multiple sites providing a range of IT support to customers
- Using knowledge of desktop packages and operating systems to perform fixes (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows 10)
- Experience of providing support to users and maintaining an IT support service to users on multiple sites
- Helping with computer installation and support
- Providing support on Microsoft products (e.g. Active Directory, Operating Systems, Office Suites)
- Comprehensive IT support skills, to include hardware and software installation, maintenance, testing and support, system administration, network management and monitoring in accordance with IT industry best practice

**Essential requirement:
- Driver with access to own vehicle
- Experience of desktop packages and operating systems (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows 10)
- Experience of providing support to users and maintaining an IT support service to users on multiple sites
