**About the Role - Purchase Ledger Clerk (Part-Time)**

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and organised **Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk** to join our busy finance team at **Drive Motor Retail Nuneaton**.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our purchase ledger, processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently while supporting the wider accounts department with administrative duties.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Processing supplier invoices accurately and promptly
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing and processing supplier payments
- Managing invoice queries and liaising with suppliers and internal departments
- Assisting with month-end tasks and reporting where required
- Maintaining organised and up-to-date ledger records

**What We’re Looking For**

We’re looking for a reliable and methodical individual with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to their work.
- Previous experience in a **purchase ledger** or **accounts payable** role (essential)
- Strong numeracy and administrative skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- A positive and professional attitude, with a commitment to supporting the wider finance team

Experience within the **automotive** or **retail** sector would be beneficial but is not essential.
