Become part of one, if not the, fastest growing med tech companies globally. Due to rapid expansion Mindray Europe requires an ambitious Marketing Communications Specialist to join its expanding team.
This role is split between supporting with European initiative and UK specific initiatives - so a matrix reporting lineand real creative variety for an experience creative copywriting expert, preferably within the medical devices industry.
Working with both UK Marketing Manager and working alongside international marketing teams, this role will support marketing communication activities for the patient monitoring, defibrillation, and ultrasound portfolios. The Marketing Communications Specialist will be responsible for generating, maintaining, and developing content and communications to promote Mindray products and solutions to stakeholders across traditional and digital channels.
Providing leading technologies to the NHS caregivers, Mindray’s solutions help provide safe and high-quality care. From the general ward to the theatres, you will see Mindray products in over half of UK hospitals.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Support the Marketing Managers in the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing communication plans to meet business objectives.
- Identifying and shaping the communication objectives for marketing campaigns, ensuring each activity delivers the required response and ROI.
- Using customer insight to write communication/creative briefs - deciding on the right messages, style and call to action to best motivate and engage customers.
- Contribute to the successful launch of new products, through clear value proposition creation, copywriting, and segmented tactical plans - including sales collateral, brochures, testimonials, direct mail, and advertisements.
- Build an efficient and agile content management processes which provides a calendar of regular customer communications, using the most effective channels.
- Supporting the Marketing Managers in the development of key opinion leaders and case studies.
- Become the key marketing liaison person for Mindray UK, supporting hospital site visits for customers or colleagues of overseas offices.
- Monitor and report the results of marketing communication activities.
**What are we looking for in you?**
- Demonstrated successful marketing **and** communications experience
- **Critical is your background in copywriting, preferably within a related business**:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, preferred
- Public relations experience is advantageous
- CIM qualifications desirable
- Knowledge of the NHS and medical device industry would be a distinct advantage
- Extensive understanding of Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to travel
- Ability to work without company sponsorship in the country for which you have applied
