Electricity North West has an exciting opportunity for a Substation Ground Worker to join our inclusive and collaborative team. This full-time Substation Ground Worker role is based in Lancaster / Kendal and offers a salary of up to £24,231 p/a and excellent benefits.

As a Substation Ground Worker, you will deliver high-standard, time-effective and cost-effective Substation Ground Worker work on ENW assets to ensure all sites are kept in a safe, tidy and operational condition at all times. You will also report/submit near misses to support the company’s proactive health and safety culture.

In your first few weeks in this Grounds Maintenance role, you can expect to:

- Provide excellent customer service for internal and external customers
- Carry out work within SLA (7 Days Customer Complaint 14 Days Engineer Request)
- Promote the accurate and timely provision of management information to drive continuous improvement
- Assist in the delivery of any work streams as needed (Pest Control, TOS, Minor Civil etc)
- Attend any relevant training to assist in other GM workstreams
- Knowledge of any other policies and procedures relevant to the role
- Be experienced and undertake any training required with regards to any powered tools/machinery needed to undertake the role, as well as be able to carry out on-site risk assessments of working area (POWRA)
- The ability to plan own working day to ensure work is done efficiently
