Kirklands Care Group is a family-owned company that owns and operates multiple care homes across Cumbria and the East Midlands.

The role on offer is a part of the head office team, to support the Marketing and Engagement Manager in her day-to-day tasks. The successful person will be office based at the care home in Whitehaven.

As an administrator, you will provide crucial support to the Marketing and Engagement Manager by assisting with internal communications, help coordinate events, and contribute to engagement activities that foster a positive workplace culture. This role is focused on supporting day-to-day tasks, ensuring smooth communication within the organisation, and assisting with projects aligned with company goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide administrative support to the Marketing & Engagement Manager including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing communications.
- Assist in tracking project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure initiatives stay on schedule.
- Assist with the planning and execution of employee engagement programmes, including team-building activities, workshops, and recognition programs.
- Help gather feedback from employees through surveys and focus groups, providing insights for improvement in engagement strategies.
- Support the creation and distribution of internal communications such as newsletters, announcements.
- Ensure that company updates, achievements, and key messages are communicated effectively to employees in a timely manner.
- Help coordinate logistics for internal events, meetings, and workshops, ensuring smooth execution.
- Manage vendor communications, assist with event setup, and oversee promotional efforts related to events.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.

Additional
- Driving Licence Required.
- Willingness to undertake a DBS check.
- Some travel may be required to nearby site locations.

**Salary & Other Details**:

- £20,000 salaried per annum.
- 30 hours per week.
- Annual Leave - 28 days inclusive of all bank holidays.
- Based in Whitehaven but working as part of the Head Office function for Kirklands Care Group.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £20,000.00 per year
