Our client has an exciting opportunity for a**Business Development Manager ** to join the team.

Location: Manchester - Home Based/ Hybrid

**Salary**: £35,000 + Bonus - OTE £45,000

Job Type/Hours: Full time

**About The Company**:
Our client is a leading, learning and development company, based in central Manchester. They are looking to hire several Business Development Managers to help with continuous growth. They pride themselves on being an industry leader in the provision of professionalapprentice services. Our client has a turnover of £10 Million and wants to continue to raise the standards within the learning and training sector.

**Business Development Manager - **The Role:
As a member of our client’s business development unit, you will be tasked to engage with employers and assist them in the implementation of learning programmes, which are suited to the needs of their organisation. You will generate new opportunities throughexisting and new relationships, with a view to accruing new starters for employers. In addition, you will lease with apprentices throughout their placement period.

**Business Development Manager **- **Key Responsibilities:

- Engage with existing and new clients, to generate new placement opportunities, you will be expected to implement over 15 placements per month
- You will manage both the employers and apprentices’ requirements throughout the placement, ensuring that both parties are meeting the requirements for development
- You will be expected to work with pour clients purpose-built training and support software, assisting clients with the platform
- Maximise efficiencies to the benefit of your clients

**Business Development Manager - **You**:

- You will be a self-starter; you will be expected to work as part of a team but will be very much self-managed
- It will certainly help you to adjust if you have a minimum of 18 months experience in a telephone-based sales role
- Experience of business to business (B2B) sales is essential, and experience with learning and training products certainly be handy too
- As you might expect in a role like this, excellent verbal communication skills are a must.
- Experience working within a team would be ideal
