**Justice Services Administrator**
- This is an outstanding opportunity to join the Justice Services team at North Wales Police as a Justice Services Administrator. You’ll be joining on a permanent contract within an organisation that will truly support your success in the workplace. The post holder will be required to provide administrative support to the relevant functions within the Justice Services Administration Unit and to carry out transactional administrative elements of the Collisions, Tickets, Summons, Charge, Process Management, Witness Care and related processes in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
- You will need to have a good standard of education and recent experience of working in an administrative role within a customer service environment together with proven written and verbal communication skills. The ability to use your own initiative and problem solve within a team environment, whilst maintaining attention to detail is essential together with proven time management and organisational skills.
- **What does the Justice Services Administrator role entail?**
- Carrying out transactional administrative elements of the Collisions, Tickets, Summons, Charge, Process Management, Witness Care and related processes in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
- Providing a dedicated witness care function in respect of Trial Casework as well as providing information to victims and witnesses as laid down in national guidance.
- Maintaining and updating both Internal and External IT systems and records relevant to the transactional function, such as Record Management System (RMS), Key Accident System, PentiP, LIBRA, Police National Computer (PNC), Witness Management System (WMS), etc.
- Working closely and liaising with both internal and external agencies, dealing with general enquiries efficiently and effectively.
- Assessing and escalating any enquiries to the relevant level if required.
- Contributing and giving feedback on business processes and the ongoing review thereof.
- Ensuring performance monitoring information is collected and collated.
- Dealing with correspondence and telephone enquiries from internal and external customers, responding to same at the appropriate level ensuring compliance with internal procedures, timescales and data protection
- Providing on the job training to new members of staff recruited into the department.
- **What will I need to be considered for the role?**
- NVQ 3 Administration or equivalent level of qualification and/or relevant experience.
Proven communication skills, commensurate with the requirements of the role.
- Clerical/Administrative experience to include filing, indexing, photocopying, typing.
- Self-motivated and pro-active with the proven ability to prioritise and complete tasks to meet specific deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently using own initiative.
- Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines, responding positively under pressure.
