QHSE/HR Support Assistant

Offshore Painting Services consists of OPS-Wind and OPS-Training. Established in 2010, we now operate out of 4 operations hubs across the UK and 2 bespoke training centres based in Liverpool, mobilising over 120 technicians to windfarms across the globe and over 20 instructors delivering close to 40 courses within our training centres.

As a QHSE/HR Support Assistant you will be providing QHSE/HR administration support to both our operations and training facilities from our Liverpool office, based in Aintree. You will be joining a small team of support personnel ensuring our workforce continue to deliver on our commitment to Safety, Quality and Satisfaction.

Supporting our QHSE/HR Manager, you will be responsible for a significant range of administrative duties which includes complex and sensitive tasks, handling and maintaining confidential records and sensitive information, along with involvement with inductions, internal audits and fleet management. Some previous experience within these disciplines is essential, as is your ability to plan and organise efficiently along with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

The primary function of this role includes providing QHSE and HR administration support across a range of internal departments within both OPS-Wind and OPS-Training, including technicians, instructors and fellow support personnel.

Duties include:
QHSE
- Provide administration support to QHSE team, including accurate and detailed reports
- Assist with the maintenance of QHSE systems and procedures
- Assist with internal and external audit preparation and reporting, including outputs and review
- Assist with continuous improvement systems, including document control and compliance
- Assist with legal and regulatory compliance, including ISO Standards across the organisation along with regulatory compliance within the training centres
- Management of vehicle fleet support, to include driver and vehicle checks, service, repair and MOT requirements and accident claims
- Collation of event information and reporting, including safety alerts/observations
- Assist with processing of data for management information purposes and record keeping

HR
- Handling a wide range of formal documents
- Collating and processing confidential data
- Assist with scheduling and processing of inductions and onboarding of all new starters, including collating relevant information, id and certificates
- Monitoring of absenteeism levels, including record keeping

Essential skills and behaviours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining close to the detail, working to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Comfortable handling a wide range of data (including sensitive and personal information); maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, ensuring the integrity of records and record keeping
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word and Excel
- Confident in communicating across the organisation, including written and verbal
- Can work independently; multi-task, organised, comfortable working to tight deadlines
- Enthusiastic, with a flexible approach

Salary - £20000 - £23000, based upon experience

Monday - Friday: 40hrs per week: 8.5hrs per day, half-hour unpaid lunch

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£22,500.00 per year
