**Purpose of job**

This is a time of exciting change for the business, as we are actively implementing our new strategy. The Treasury team is heavily involved in helping teams across the business to deliver our strategic priorities by providing debt and financial risk management services and advice.

Reporting to the Treasury Manager, you will be responsible for the operational side of our Treasury function, which means looking after our cash and debt management and reporting and reviewing policies and procedures. The role will require lots of interaction with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as working alongside the Treasury Manager to deliver new and exciting projects aligned with new Landsec strategy. There will be many opportunities to learn and develop within the team and the wider business.

**Salary**:£30,000 - £35,000 per annum

**Principle accountabilities**
- Daily cash administration including investing of surplus funds and borrowing to cover deficits.
- Process treasury related payments and inter bank account transfers.
- Forecast, monitor and track cash flows.
- Liaise with banks on any operational banking queries.
- Undertake FX spot purchases and support FX hedging activities
- Responsible for maintaining data and all deals within the Treasury Management System (TMS) and other treasury databases.
- Build and maintain a strong relationship with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure both internal and external treasury mandates in place are kept up to date.
- Review and update relevant treasury procedures.
- Assist with external and internal audit process and queries.
- Support Treasury Manager with key activities and ad hoc projects, such as preparation and review of covenant reports, research of relevant regulations, TMS improvements, etc.
- Provide general administrative support to the Treasury team.

**Knowledge, experience and qualifications**

**Essential**
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of finance and financial markets fundamentals
- Ability to demonstrate a strong knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience of interacting and communicating effectively with people at different levels of the organisation
- Experience of working effectively to deadlines
- Willingness to undertake AMCT qualification

**Desirable**
- Experience of working within a Treasury Function
- Previous experience of working with a Treasury Management System or database

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
