Job role: Modern Apprentice Early Years Practitioner

Reports to: Nursery Manager

Responsible for:
Our Modern Apprentice Early Years Practitioners are responsible for providing a high standard of learning, development and care for our children, which is steeped in the knowledge of attachment theory and early brain development. Supported by our Nursery Manager and Deputy Nursery Manager, our team will nurture environments that are emotionally and physically safe.

Lullaby Lane Nurseries:
Lullaby Lane Nurseries is an Attachment Led Nursery, based in the heart of Westerton, Milngavie and Lethamhill, specialising in the care of children aged 0-5 years old, the most formative years of a child’s life. There is a wealth of research to indicate the environment a child is exposed to, in the very earliest of years, has an impact on how they develop cognitively, emotionally and socially, which they take with them through into adulthood.

- Have a fascination and curiosity in the development of children
- Show a commitment to ensure their professional development remains relevant and up to date through accessing current research on child development
- Be an outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic person with the ability to have fun
- Demonstrate compassion, kindness, integrity and authenticity

Essential Skills and Experience
- Be willing to undertake, or are currently working towards an HNC/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare

Package:

- Salary Banding: £27,000 to £29,000 per annum
- Scottish Living Wage Accredited

**Salary**: £13,312 - £18,720 per annum

Schedule:

- 11-hour shift
- 4 days per week
- Rotational basis
