**Finance Manager Transactional / Credit**

Based Hertfordshire, our global, £1bn revenue, and innovative client is a seeking a Finance Manager Transactional / Credit to join their busy team on a permanent basis.

This job would suit a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA) to manage the Treasury and customer credit area of finance.

This company is a Pharmaceutical Manufacturer who have entered a period of real growth with a turnover of over 1bn euros, with a global presence, 4000+ employees and with plans to continue the high growth and treble the turnover to 3bn euros over the nextfew years

Duties will include:

- Daily liquidity forecasting by currency; arranging sweeps and spot currency purchases
- Weekly cash transaction analysis (consolidated for group) including variance to forecast
- Production and presentation of monthly cash flow forecasts (consolidated for group), aligned to receivables/payables and inputs from commercial and capex teams
- Leading the annual going concern review with the external auditors
- Updating all schedules to current FX and revaluing positions
- Maintaining mandates, banking platform access, facility limits, KYC requests and bank charges
- Setting supplier payment limits and checking all payments prior to release
- Arranging ad-hoc Treasury and tax payments
- Overseeing the accounts receivable function for the UK and US market and subsidiary companies; escalating to commercial teams where required
- Managing the accounts receivable function for the ICON market
- Reporting on debtor positions monthly
- Performing credit reviews on key customers, setting credit limits and requesting instruments for mitigating credit risk - bank guarantees / LCs
- Reviewing proposed shipments against limits
- Calculation of bad debt provisions and expected credit loss in line with IFRS9
- Arranging performance bank guarantees for bids and tenders
