**About us**:Glebe House (Charnwood) LTD has been around for over 40 years. We currently support over 100 clients and have around 70 staff members, 30 of those who have been with us for 10+ years.

Glebe House offers a wide range of services for people of all ages in Leicestershire, which are all aimed at improving the lives of the people we support and the lives of those who support them. Our flexible provision includes community life choices, a specialist autism team, overnight short breaks and social clubs for adults, whilst offering Saturday and play schemes for children.

**The Role**

**Saturdays and school holidays only. **We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic individuals to join our Children's Team. Experience of working with children is desirable as is having the confidence to deal with the challenges that may arise from the role. You will be capable of working on your own, using initiative but also be a team player. Confidentiality, flexibility, reliability and good communication skills are all a necessary part of the role.

You will be providing our children and young people with learning disabilities with the opportunity to have fun and be themselves, in a safe and stimulating environment and supporting them to be actively involved in the planning of activities and trips out.

**Essential**
- Experience of working with children desirable
- Ability to assist with physical and personal care
- Good communication skills
- Relevant qualification or training desirable but not essential as training will be given
- An Enhanced DBS check is required for which we pay

**Hours**:Saturday work (additional hours in Holiday Playschemes available)**
- Permanent contract (any additional hours to regular contracted hours can be worked on a Zero Hour Contract)
- _**Day of Work: Saturday - 9.30 am - 4.00 pm (can choose to work just 2 Saturdays or up to 4 Saturdays per month)**_
- Additional Days of Work: Weekday Playschemes - Easter, Half Terms and Summer to be worked on a zero hour contract

Salary DOE. Starting at £11.44/hr. NVQ 2 qualification up to £11.66/hr and NVQ3 up to £11.78/hr **(Saturday work is +£1 an hour)**
