**The Role
We are a fast-growing and ambitious remediation company, looking to appoint an Environmental Engineer to be responsible for onsite environmental monitoring and sampling at our Truro Soil Treatment Facility. Also involves going out to various sites. Usingthis data to assist the technical director in producing technical reports utilising field experience to assist in tendering for projects.
**Key Responsibilities**
The key responsibilities of an Environmental Engineer include, but are not limited to:
- Soil sampling and environmental monitoring (air, water).
- Directing plant, machinery and organising transport for movement of soil.
- Following and updating onsite Health and Safety protocols.
- Hazardous waste classification and reporting.
- Assisting in tendering and pricing.
- Writing technical reports.
- Meeting clients and suppliers.

**The Person
The key skills and qualities of an Environmental Engineer are:
- 1-2 years’ experience in remediation or environmental contracting/consulting, or graduate experience.
- Data collection, interpretation and writing technical reports.
- Knowledge of groundwater and soil remediation technologies desirable.
- Geo-environmental software experience and advantage.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Relevant CSCS qualification (this can be provided by UKRL).
- Full driving license.
- Have an interest in environmental and pollution challenges.
- Keen to enter a growing, dynamic company and add to the company ethos of progression.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, partners, suppliers and staff.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under own steam.
- Ability to produce quality reports.
