Water Hygiene Engineer Location: Truro, Cornwall. Salary / Benefits £25k – £35k + Training + Benefits Overview We have an exciting opportunity for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join an independent and highly respected Water Hygiene / Legionella management company. You will be traveling across the Cornwall region, covering predominantly Educational sites, alongside Commercial, Industrial, and Public Sector sites; undertaking various water hygiene duties, including but not limited to, TMV servicing, failsafe testing, calorifier purging and showerhead descales and disinfections. Consideration will be given to candidates from: St Austell, Falmouth, Redruth, Torquay, Plymouth, Newquay, St Ives, Bude, Hatherleigh, Launceston, Tavistock, Exeter, Exmouth, Bampton, Barnstaple, Bideford. Experience & Qualifications Extensive experience working as an engineer for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company. Fully conversant with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Excellent time management skills. Efficient communication skills. The Role Working on predominantly Educational sites carrying out water sampling and temperature monitoring. TMV servicing and failsafe testing. Undertaking tank cleans and disinfections. Showerhead descales and disinfections. Calorifier purging. Flushing of little used outlets. Ensuring work complies with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Updating onsite logbooks accurately.
