Summary We have an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Business Services Co-Ordinator to join the Central South Downs Countryside Team based at the Slindon Estate.
Business Services is one of the most vital functions in our property team in service of our cause and as part of the Central South Downs Team you’ll have to love variety and be a great multi-tasker. As well as assisting the Team with their day-to-day administration,you’ll maintain accurate records; assist with compliance & environmental monitoring as well as maintain contact with our Supporters, so strong organisational and time management skills are key. You’ll always champion best practice when it comes to businessservices and will be confident challenging the norm when you think there’s a better way of doing something.
**Hours**:Contracted hours for this role will be 26.5 hours per week, distribution of which can be flexible in agreement with the Line Manager.

What it's like to work here The voice of our landscapes, conservation champions and lovers of all things outdoors, you’ll help to keep the British countryside and coast wonderful. Working from the Slindon Estate Office in the heart of the South Downs, you’ll provide a first class businessservice to look after the Slindon Estate, Drovers Estate, Bosham Quay Meadow, East Head and The Warrens. This position forms part of a wider, friendly South Downs Business Services team.
What you'll be doing Known for your exceptional organisational skills and your love of delivering first class service, you’ll provide a comprehensive administration service to the whole property team. As well as providing exceptional external facing customer service, you’llbe confident using a variety of IT packages to create reports, keep accurate records, and write timely and accurate internal and external communications. You will always ensure compliance with the Trust’s financial & procurement procedures, striving to improvecost efficiencies wherever possible. Your whole property business service responsibilities will also include room booking and meeting support, licence management, processing donations, some cash handling and support for whole property compliance & environmentalmonitoring.
