St. Christopher's are a charity founded in 1870 to create brighter futures for children and young people. They work across the UK and Isle of Man providing children's homes, supported housing, fostering and specialist support services, all designed for youngpeople in care, on the edge of care, or leaving care. They work alongside young people to support their development, grow their confidence and reach their full potential.
**The Role**
We are looking to recruit an Individual Giving Lead to come in and manage a range of exciting acquisition and retention campaigns. This is an exciting new opportunity to lead and grow the charity's individual giving programme, creating an individual givingstrategy and increasing the value and length of support from existing and new supporters.
Your role will involve the following duties:

- To develop and implement a donor development programme and individual giving plan, maximising income to agreed targets from one-off donations, committed giving, mid-level gifts and legacies.
- Prepare and produce individual donor mailings and appeals focusing on both acquisition and retention of donors; create materials and manage data generation and segmentation.
- Grow income by identifying the audiences, channels, products and messages that maximise long-term sustainable revenue.
- Develop high-quality supporter care, including responsive and prompt donor care and stewardship.
- Develop donors aiming to increase their levels of support, promote legacy giving, and develop new ways of giving, including one-off donations and committed giving.
- To contribute to the development and implementation of the fundraising strategy.
- Experience within fundraising or direct marketing
- Experience of developing and delivering a strategy to drive and increase engagement
- Experience of managing income and expenditure budgets
- Experience of donor, client or account management in order to grow income
- Experience of using a contact management database to manager relationships
- Experience of project management to deliver acquisition and retention campaigns
- Good understanding of current digital marketing concepts, strategies and best practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with good attention to detail.
