Learning Design Lead

We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Design Lead to join our team. Our Leadership, Learning and Talent team are currently hybrid working, so sometimes you’ll be working from home, on other occasions be at our Leeds, Bradford or Peterborough offices.

**About the role**

We are introducing a new Learning Design Lead role to our structure which will lead and drive our team of Learning Solutions Designers to be a high performing, flexible team that deliver a first-class learning experience, putting human-centred design at the heart to better meet business priorities.

By keeping abreast of latest thinking related to learning effectiveness and design, you will lead and develop an outstanding centre for learning design, introducing new perspectives, methods, and technologies to our current approach, taking the team and our learning offer to the next level with award-winning impactful learning that leaves our colleagues wanting more.

As well as managing team capacity and resource efficiently, meeting and being flexible to business demands, you will use your excellent coaching skills to develop our Learning Solution Designers to be their best selves, designing with agility and pace, and producing blended solutions that are externally inspired and meet the need.

You will be a people leader with proven coaching skills and experience developing capabilities with a track record of achieving high performance from your team members. You will love using your initiative and collaborating with others in pursuit of learning success. You will thrive on finding the best way to deliver desired outcomes at pace.

You will have a strong consultative approach and be able to build relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and third parties.

You will have experience in human-centric design and blended design, knowing when different solution types are required to best meet the need, and extend beyond traditional classroom solutions to much more modern, digital, and social learning solutions available to us today.

You will be super organised and be able to work with a good degree of change and agility. You have exceptional project planning, management, and delivery skills. You have proven depth and breadth of experience in learning and change management.
