We are looking for a Days Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care or looking to start a rewarding career within care - no experience required with full training provided on the job

You’ll be working 12-hour shifts on a fixed rolling shift pattern of 4 Days on, 4 Days off making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Oakhurst whilst having a good work/life balance.

Oakhurst, is a specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities who may present with behaviors that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective environment, promoting independence and community integration.Person-centered planning is at the heart of everything we do, based on each person’s specific needs. We understand that consistency and continuity of care are important for the individuals we care for.

In this role, you’ll
- Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
- Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
- Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
- Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
- Safeguard residents
- The opportunity to support residents to attend activities within the community such as bowling, cinema, restaurant visits, swimming, and many more
