West Hampshire Camhs Early Help Support Worker

West Hampshire CAMHS Early Help Service are looking for an Early Help support worker to join the team and work alongside the clinical and admin teams as we develop and expand our service. The successful applicant will undertake a range of tasks, from contacting families referred to our Single Point of Access service, running our young person and carer outcomes clinics, preparing and delivering appropriate therapeutic materials to aid the facilitation of work shops and groups, to assisting with data collation and analysis of outcomes.

You will work to support our clinicians in the delivery of therapeutic interventions and to support the Single Point of Access service.

Hampshire CAMHS is a service that has had significant investment and is an expanding and developing service. We need a Band 3 support worker to join the CAMHS Early Help Service in the West Hampshire, covering Ashurst, Eastleigh and Winchester / Test Valley ( Andover) bases to assist with the delivery of a range of interventions to children and young people. You can choose which base you would prefer. This post will support us to expand and develop our stepped model of care for young people, delivering our various anxiety based groups and emotional coping skills and resilience focused work. You will support the teams working in schools and clinics delivering mental health forums, workshops, training and other interventions. You will be a part of our single point of access team that triages referrals, develops risk and safety plans, and supports external colleagues and families with advice and signposting information and expertise. Experience of working with children and young people is essential, and experience of working with young people with mental health challenges is desirable.
