We are hiring a Senior Accounts Assistant to join our team. 

**The role**:
As Senior Accounts Assistant, you will work closely with the Finance Manager, undertaking various transactional finance duties. In this role, you will be a key team member, supporting the smooth running of the finance department. 
This role will suit you if you're an Accounts Assistant with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position, with a strong understanding and experience in the transactional side of finance.  

**Your responsibilities as Senior Accounts Assistant will include: **

- Inputting and maintaining both the sales and purchase ledger;
- Month end journals;
- Bank posting;
- Bank reconciliations;
- Supporting the Finance Manager with month-end and year-end;
- Any other ad hoc accounts duties as requested by the Finance Manager.

**Experience and skills required**:

- At least 5 years' experience in a similar position, as an Accounts Assistant or Senior Accounts Assistant;
- Experience with transactional journals;
- Experience using SAGE 200 (desirable);
- Intermediate Excel skills;
- Good attention to detail.
