**Calling all experienced Multi Skill Trades Painter and Decorators based in Matlock -** **can you give our homes the perfect finish?**

We are looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator to join our talented and busy Voids team and help maintain our homes in and around the Matlock area.

**What could you be doing?**

Putting the finishing touch to our properties you will be an important part of a busy team delivering and returning Empty Properties (Voids) to the required Lettable Standard in this area. With a passion for detail, you will have the ability to work on your own initiative. If you also have additional trade skills, especially experience of tiling and plastering you should really get in touch

**We want somebody who can**:
A team player, you’ll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You’ll be working in people’s homes, so you’ll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication and customer service skills. You’ll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering work right first time.

**Some things we need from you**:

- You will have served an apprenticeship in Painting and Decorating or obtained an equivalent City & Guilds qualification
- Additional Trade skills
- Extensive time served in Painting, Decorating and associated trade skills
- Good organisational skills
- Experience of keeping jobs on track
- Takes ownership, responsibility for their tasks and has a right first-time approach
- Works well alone but also as part of a team
- The drive to ensure works are completed quickly and efficiently whilst meeting strict deadlines
- Full UK driving Licence as this is a mobile role
- As you will be working in customers’ homes you will need a DBS check.

This role is for a team based in Matlock and the surrounding area so you will need to live there or close by.
