An opportunity has arisen for a knowledgeable highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the People Division to lead the Pay and Pensions Shared Services team and functions. LPFT Payroll and Pensions Shared Services manages and provides the Payroll and Pensions administration function for over 20,000 employees with both weekly and monthly payrolls for both the trust as host and other NHS organisations within Lincolnshire and beyond, as well as further pensions services to a small number of other clients.
This position is the strategic lead and decision maker on Payroll and Pensions Shared Services matters, a full time permanent role based on the outskirts of Lincoln, and will be accountable for the effective, responsive, modern and efficient Payroll and Pensions administration function.
Previous experience of the NHS is desirable.

To be the strategic lead and decision maker on Payroll and Pensions Shared Services matters for LPFT and all related clients, and the role will work within agreed key performance indicators set with the trust and its clients.
To formulate, plan, lead, manage and develop the provision of Payroll and Pensions Shared Services for LPFT ensuring they are delivered to the highest governance and professional standards and that decisions of the trust are supported by complete and accurate financial information. To perform the “head of profession role” in relation to Payroll and Pensions Shared Services and to provide consistent advice to the trust on all related matters.
To contribute to achieving the vision, purpose, and values of LPFT, and deliver customer focused outcomes in the most efficient and cost-effective manner in accordance with the Trusts strategic plan.
LPFT Payroll and Pensions Shared Services manages and provides the Payroll and Pensions administration function for over 20,000 employees for Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Lincolnshire Community NHS Trust, United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust and further pensions services to a small number of GP Practices and Lincolnshire County Council.
The Payroll & Pensions services are delivered at Shared Service Centre at Henshaw House, in Lincoln by a team of over 30 staff..
