Government Campus and Curriculum (GCC)
Job Summary
Reporting to the Head of Learning and Quality, the Quality and Evaluation Lead has the overall responsibility for quality of learning delivered via the managed learning contract with the Civil Service Government Skills and Curriculum Unit (GSCU) and is the SME for evaluation and measuring the impact of learning for the GCC contract and across KPMG’s Connected Learning business
The Quality and Evaluation Lead must embody KPMG’s values, act as a role model, and help build commitment and belief toward the accomplishment of the team’s goals.
**Responsibilities**:
- Partner GSCU on implementing the Government Campus evaluation strategy
- Present KPMG evaluation strategies to Civil Service clients and scope and implement additional evaluation projects.
- Own relationship with GSCU Evaluation and Analysis lead.
- Ensure KPMG meets the quality service level agreements (SLA) for the GCC contract.
- Lead the continuous improvement process with GSCU.
- Lead on piloting of new content as required.
- Owner of KPMG Quality Assurance process for all new content built for the GSCU contract.
- Lead the quality assurance team, a mix of KPMG staff and contingent associates, to check all new content.
- Responsible for ensuring new content meets design standards around accessibility and diversity and inclusion, and that KPMG colleagues are aware of the latest standards.
- Business owner for 360 review tool provided to the Civil Service.
- Responsible for quality of delivery by KPMG associate facilitators.
Role
- Seniority and credibility to advise clients on approaches to evaluating learning.
- Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Review and make recommendations to improve evaluation and quality processes.
- Developing evaluation methodologies and continuously improving innovations to meet client requirements.
- Maintain the quality of topics, programmes and other products.
- Review calculations of monthly quality SLAs.
- Ad hoc analysis of evaluation feedback at product and thematic levels.
- Provide regular data and analysis to KPMG teams on evaluation feedback.
- Where content does not meet required evaluation targets, then work with colleagues in the Learning team to identify root cause and actions to improve scores.
- Provide advice to KPMG teams on actions to improve evaluation results.
- Represent KPMG at regular Continuous Improvement meetings with GSCU.
- Evaluate pilots of new content, including agreeing success criteria with clients, evaluating against those criteria and, if necessary, agreeing any changes to content required.
- Design of evaluation feedback forms.
- Analysis and reporting of evaluation data.
- Support other contracts within KPMG Connected Learning to design and implement evaluation strategies and analyse and report on evaluation data.
- Produce thought-leadership on measuring the impact of learning and own KPMG’s viewpoint on evaluation.
- Ad-hoc requests as defined by the Head of Learning and Quality.
- Performance manager for Quality Team members.
- Review feedback and respond to issues in relation to KPMG associate facilitators.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
Essential
- Knowledge of different learning evaluation and impact models and techniques.
- Experience of implementing learning evaluation processes and analysing evaluation data.
- Experience of working with or for a large public sector organisation.
- Highly effective organisational skills.
- Significant attention to detail with a logical approach and the ability to meet challenging deadlines.
