Community Night Nursing Sister

We are looking for an experienced nurse that will be able to share the responsibility of line management of this dynamic and hard working team. Have excellent communication skills with effective leadership knowledge and ability to make autonomous decisions.
Our service has 3 Trust run cars which are used during the shift covering the whole of Dorset. We also travel in pairs 1 x registered nurse and 1 x HCA. We share the driving overnight. The cars are stocked with essential nursing equipment, which may be required when visiting including catheters, wound dressings, palliative care stock.
Our shifts start at 8pm till 8am 7 days a week. Full time equates to 3 shifts a week and 4 shifts every 6 weeks. This is a 10 month secondment post
Successful applicants will need to provide high quality clinical care to patients within the community. Support the team of nurses, HCA's and admin staff alongside another Band 6. The role is diverse, challenging and extremely rewarding.
To provide a high-quality patient centred approach to care delivery which
always considers patients safety, privacy and dignity.
To provide care, assessments, treatments and managing patients as part
of the wider multi-disciplinary care team.
To provide specialist advice to others regarding the management and care
of patients/service users.
Provide supervision, mentorship, training and clinical support to
students and trained practitioners.
