**JOB TITLE**: Operational Trainer
**DEPARTMENT**: Learning & Development
**LOCATION**: Grantham
**MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB**:
The Operational Trainer is responsible for designing blended training that meets the needs of the business. Facilitating and delivering creative sessions that evoke change, including evaluating the success of learning sessions and producing and delivering appropriate handover to relevant parties. They will be an advocate of people development and have a passion for creative training and coaching.
They will support the Training Managers to deliver successful training solutions, ensuring the training function conducts itself competently and to a high standard to meet the needs of the wider organisation.
**POSITION IN ORGANISATION**:
**REPORTS TO**: Training Mangers
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for design, delivery, evaluation, handover and feedback of courses
Creating and delivering an effective induction training program
Developing and delivering companywide training to all employees
Working with Operational Managers to identify training gaps and develop plans to address
Developing and delivering ongoing refresher training to existing team members across all areas
Documenting and maintaining a library of training materials and training records ensuring they are kept up to date
Identifying and learning innovative methodologies to enhance training and development offerings to the departments
Embedding our values into every aspect of training to really bring to life the culture that we are striving to create across the organisation
Build learning pathways to support organisational learning and capability in line with core learning needs
Evaluate own training and facilitation, setting objectives for developments and enhancements to improve delivery or material where required
Create and deliver an efficient and effective handover for any project, training material or training delivery to relevant parties.
Developing and delivering eLearning training for all employees
Provide training support to the operational coaches to ensure the training and coaching needs of the business are met.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Learning and Development experience
Knowledge of the financial services or debt industry would be desirable
Learning & Development qualification desirable
Experience in creating and delivering structured training courses and material
Experience of providing training solutions in a wide variety of delivery methods including virtual and face to face learning
Proven understanding of adult learning principles, frameworks and tools relevant for designing blended programs

Communications Skills - Has the ability to communicate at all levels both with written and verbal communication and seek support where needed
Delivery Skills - Ability to present and facilitate with a creative and innovative approach to people development
Third party management skills - Has the ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external parties to deliver positive outcomes
Organisation Skills - Has the ability to balance dynamic work demands in a challenging, fast-paced environment and ensure delivery of projects whilst prioritising workload based upon business needs
Project Management Skills - Has the ability to manage own workload, complex projects, meet deadlines whilst using own initiative
Attention to detail - Has the ability to produce high quality work without errors
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Teams
Has the desire to develop personally within the role and develop the department with their own skills
