**The Opportunity**

We’re looking for an experienced permanent, full time Warehouse Supervisor. Working at our Barnsley distribution centre, you will be working alongside the Warehouse Manager.

You will be responsible for allocating the daily workload to ensure an efficient operation and the smooth flow of product through the operation. You will look for continuous improvements in the operation to put the customer first and ensure our better planet project is at the heart of all you do.

This is a role in a small, close knit team, so being hands on and rolling your sleeves up is essential, as is exceptionally team work and supervision.

Working hours are on site, 8.30-5pm Monday to Friday, however during the summer months there is the opportunity to finish at 12.30pm on Friday’s.

**What will you get up to?**

**Operational**
- Oversee the day to day running of the warehouse operation
- Manage stock counts and investigations in depth
- Checking Key Accounts orders prior to despatch
- Assist Warehouse Operatives when required
- Manage Goods In, checking deliveries and QC checks
- Manage stock replenishment
- Manage the International stockAdherence to stock management systems
- Manage customer returns
- Drive the highest level of customer quality
- Assist Warehouse & Logistic Manager with annual stock take
- Deputise all daily tasks required in the absence of the Warehouse & Logistics Manager

**Costs**
- Monitor and report the weekly/monthly spend with hauliers
- Identify potential cost saving initiatives and implement where applicable

**Processes**
- Identify new potential ways of working to improve processes and highlight to the Warehouse Manager
- Identify and highlight to the Warehouse Manager any redundant processes

**Health & Safety**
- Full adherence to health and safety policy and procedures
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained and a clean as you go culture is maintained
- Ensure the administration office is kept tidy and all paperwork is filed daily

**Who do we need?**

**Technical Skills**
- Computer literate
- Sage 200
- Miniumum 2 years’ supervisory experience

**Personal Skills**
- Excellent communication skills
- People leader
- Great relationship building
- Flexible
- Work under pressure in a fast-paced changing environment
